The denied database is where senders that you do not want to receive email from are stored. If emails come to you and KnockKnock finds the sender in your denied database, the email will automatically be deleted before they can be downloaded to your system. You can move an email address from the denied database to pending or approved. This will allow future email from this sender to reach the corresponding database, but will not deliver email that have already been deleted from the server.
A quick way to send email senders to the denied
database is when you receive an email alert message stating KnockKnock
and have sent approval messages to any address you wish to add to your accept
database, then you can click the REPLY button and then the SEND
button and all the other email on the list will be placed in the denied database
(which means you should NOT get an email from that email address again.)
If you fail to REPLY to this email all the entries that you did not send an
email to will be placed in a pending mode (Pending
database). Soon you will receive a confirmation
request on all pending email automatically set for deny mode.
You can also delete senders
via the Quick Control screen. Just right click
on the email address you want to change the status on and click deny.
